Sharper Coding for Trauma :: Virtual 4-Day Course

KJ Trauma Consulting LLC is pleased to offer this trauma-specific four-day training opportunity.  The workshop will provide basic, intermediate and advanced coding concepts/scenarios for both ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS specific to trauma data management.  The course is facilitated and taught by experienced Trauma Data Managers and/or AHIMA approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainers/Ambassadors. The course is designed for trauma professionals who want a better understanding of International Classification of Diseases, specific to trauma.

Cost:  $470.00 per person for course registration (plus $15.00 additional processing fee if paid by credit card)

Course Materials:Participants will receive course materials.  ICD-10-CM & ICD-10-PCS Coding books are NOT provided.  The participant MUST use their own coding books.  2022 or 2023 versions are required.

Registration Open Date:November 28, 2022
Registration Close Date:February 8, 2023 11:59pm Eastern Time Zone.  Course needs to have a minimum of twenty (20) paid participants by the deadline, otherwise, the course will be canceled. Telephone registrations are not accepted. Workshop is limited to 24 participants.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:  KJ Trauma Consulting, LLC (KJTC) reserves the right to cancel up to two (2) weeks to the start of the course.  In case of course cancellation, KJTC will fully refund the course tuition. KJTC will not be responsible for any other expenses incurred by the registrant. Should a course be cancelled due to an Act of God, KJTC will refund all tuition payments for the course less a $115 processing fee for each registrant. KJTC will not be responsible for any other expenses incurred by the registrant. Should a registrant cancel their participation in the course, not more than two (2) weeks prior to the course date, tuition fees will be reimbursed less a $115 processing fee.  Should a registrant cancel their participation less than two (2) weeks prior to the course date, no refund will be issued and the course full amount plus processing fees are due. Reservations may be booked to a future class offering.

Telephone registrations will not be accepted. Course materials include faculty fees and a training binder with presentation handouts and scenarios. Only registrations accompanied by payment (check, money order, or credit card information) will be accepted. Confirmations will be sent within three (3) business days, along with an invoice, which needs to be paid before the posted deadline.  All fees must be received no later than thirty (30) days prior to the course. Failure to provide payment by the deadline will result in loss of course participation. Credit cards will not be processed until at minimum, two weeks prior to the course date.  If you have not received confirmation please call (239) 599-4513, otherwise your place in class is not confirmed.
